Abstract
An 81-year-old man with third-degree A Sr block and weakness underwent an unsuccessful attempt at DDD pacemaker implant caused by hypothyroi dism. Administration of thyroxin until he was euthyroid permitted impl antation with normal stimulation thresholds.
