The upper limits of the molar free energy of formation of intermetalli
des of actinides (An = Am, Cm, Bk, Cf) with platinum-group metals (M =
Pt, Ir, Pd, Rh) AnM(y) (y = 2, 3, 5) are calculated. The quantity DEL
TAG0f varies from -340 kJ/mole for Cf compounds to -400 kJ/mole for Am
compounds. The change of DELTAG0f(AnMy) as a function of An atomic nu
mber correlates with the change of other properties of the studied int
ermetallides.
