New lower limits on the half-lives for betabeta decay of Zr-96 and Nd-
150 to excited states of Mo-96 and Sm-150 have been obtained. They ran
ge between 1.10(19) and 4.10(19) years (90% c.l.). The measurements we
re performed while searching for the de-excitation gamma rays of the d
aughter nuclide with a germanium detector. In addition, single-beta de
cay of Zr-96 has also been studied, providing a half-life for this pro
cess longer than 3.8.10(19) y (90% c.l.).
