The undulation domain structure (UDS) of the thin uniaxial magnetic fi
lms is studied. Both rigorous and approximate expressions of UDS energ
y are obtained using the magnetic charges method in case of sinusoidal
form of domain walls. The results of calculation of UDS energy depend
ence on it's parameters are presented. For the demagnetized UDS the eq
uilibrium values of domain period and domain walls bend amplitude bein
g a function of magnetic film parameters are found. It is shown that t
he equilibrium period of demagnetized UDS is greater then the equilibr
ium period of stripe domain structure if the ratio of the film charact
eristic length and thickness less-than-or-equal-to 0.3
