Abstract
Three Sm(2 angstrom)/Fe(3 angstrom) multilayers have been made using t wo electron beams in a high vacuum chamber onto very thin Kapton foils at different substrate temperatures, (T(s)=40-degrees-C, 150-degrees- C and 230-degrees-C), with the same total thickness of 3000 angstrom. We have found that the substrate temperature strongly affects structur e and magnetic properties of the samples. For a substrate temperature of 150-degrees-C the sample behaves as a three dimensional random magn et.
