Abstract
In Sm2CuO4 in an external magnetic field new magnetic excitations were detected. The resonance frequency of those excitations in zero field is 12.5 cm-1 at T = 4.2 K. Infrared reflection spectra of samarium cup rate single crystals are studied in the temperature range of 90-300 K.
