Abstract
Noncollinear 'umbrella' structure of the Dy3+ magnetic moments in Dy:Y IG is deduced from the satellites in the Fe-57 NMR spectrum of this sy stem at 46 K and 77 K. The angle of the umbrella is nearly the same at both temperatures, while the magnitudes of Dy3+ magnetic moments incr ease with the decreasing temperature.
