The temperature dependence of FMR was measured on thin LPE films YIG:
Co0.03Ca0.3 and YIG: Co0.06Ge0.65Ca0.7. The measured value of K1 was u
sed to estimate Co2+(a) and Co3+(d) content. For YIG: Co, Ge, Ca the l
arge increase of FMR linewidth towards lower temperatures was observed
. The angular dependence of linewidth was compared with the calculatio
n based on the inhomogeneous anisotropy field model. It is suggested t
hat the low temperature increase of DELTAH is caused predominantly by
fluctuations in the cubic anisotropy field, having its origin in an in
homogeneous distribution of Ca2+ ions within the film.
