Abstract
Fe31.5Cr4.5B14 metallic glass ribbons were prepared by melt spinning t echnique without magnetic field and in longitudinal or transversal mag netic field of 13-15 kA/m. From these ribbons the 59-60 mm long and ab out 4 mm wide strips were cut. Ultrasound velocities at constant magne tic field and at constant magnetic induction were investigated. For co mparison the results for the Fe80Cr4.3B15.7 metallic glass ribbon prep ared without magnetic field (WM) are presented.
