Abstract
Experimental observation of microwave bright envelope solitons of dipo lar magnetostatic surface waves is reported. Both time domain analysis and input-output microwave power measurements have been exploited to detect such magnetostatic surface wave solitons in the pure dipolar re gime. Possible applications of the observed nonlinear effect in microw ave signal processing are outlined.
