Abstract
Literature has been found to be a creative tool for helping children c ope with changes in their lives. Using books in intervention is referr ed to as bibliotherapy. This article illustrates how bibliotherapy can be used to help adolescents cope with family breakdown, foster care, and adoption placement. Books are presented that can be useful in clin ical practice.
