A practical and effective method, which is used to predict the errors
due to manufacture of the structural parameters, is presented using se
nsitivity analysis, random perturbation, and generalized inverse matri
x theory. This method is based on the statistics of the natural freque
ncies of the structure and can be applied to the complex structure whi
ch includes both distinct and multiple eigenvalues. A numerical exampl
e is given to illustrate the application of the method.
