Abstract
We discuss the analysis of Li-11 and C-11 scattering by Mermaz [Phys. Rev. C 47, 2213 (1993)]. We argue that his results show the C-11 scatt ering to be more refractive than that of Li-11, and indicate various e ffects that could be responsible.
