Models of kinetic growth phenomena analogous to diffusion-limited aggr
egation are introduced. The presence of two coupled fields enables the
removal of nonlocality in the growth equations. Simple modifications
of the model lead to a range of patterns similar to those observed in
recent electrochemical deposition experiments.
