P. Brumer et al., RELATIVE LASER PHASE IN THE COHERENT CONTROL AND INTERFERENCE CONTROLOF PHOTODISSOCIATION BRANCHING RATIOS, Israel Journal of Chemistry, 34(1), 1994, pp. 137-145
Product properties in molecular photodissociation can be controlled by
simultaneous excitation through a number of coherent excitation route
s. Examples of simplified methods for maintaining laser phase coherenc
e of the multiple routes, required for control, are described. Of part
icular interest is a new high field approach where multiple paths are
generated in such a manner as to make relatively coherent lasers unnec
essary.
