Abstract
Under steady-state conditions, the i-E equations at thin microring ele ctrodes for reversible, quasi-reversible, and irreversible systems are derived by using uniform surface concentration boundary condition. Us ing these results, the heterogeneous rate constants of several fast el ectron transfer reactions under steady-state diffusion conditions are measured. The measured rates are in good agreement with existing data. As a result, all these efforts are successful in a simplified way com pared to those required for relaxation techniques.
