Abstract
Both reduction and aryl/alkylation are involved in the reactions of ar yl and alkyl Grignard reagents with the terminal (imido)vanadium(V) co mplex [ArN-Vcl3] to form diamagnetic cyclodivanadazene type species, [ (mu-p-MeC6H4N)2V2R4] (R = CH2Ph, 2,4,6-Me3Cr6H2).
