Abstract
A procedure for converting metal dimethyl-amido complexes into the cor responding metal iodide complexes is described. Treatment of (Me2N)2Ti (NRAr)2 (R = C(CD3)2CH3, Ar = 3,5-C6H3Me2) with excess methyl iodide g ave I2Ti(NRAr)2 in 60% isolated yield.
