Abstract
The solubilities of ethane in t-butanol (TEA) and water mixtures have been determined at 10, 15, and 20 degrees C and pressures up to 3.1 MP a. Thermodynamic properties have also been calculated based on the mea sured solubility data and the hydrophobic interaction for the methane- methane pair interaction in the mixed solvent is discussed.
