Abstract
NdSrBaCu3O6+z prepared in air followed by oxygen annealing showed a T( c) of 68 K. The T(c) of the sample when treated in argon followed by o xygen annealing increased by 10 K. This could be related to the observ ed shrinking of the c axis and/or a rearrangement of oxygen atoms in t he basal plane.
