Abstract
We report on a linearized technique for the determination of embedding networks that maximize the added power in a two-port oscillator desig n. The embedding networks are similar to the optimum networks presente d by Kotzebue [1], but they are determined without the assumption of a constant voltage at the input port of the active device. The method p resented here will result in a more accurate determination of the embe dding networks for maximum power output from a device with a given set of two-port parameters.
