Abstract
Two racemic compounds, namely N-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyl)-tert-butylvallnam ide, and N-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyl)-tert-butylleucinamide, have been succe ssfully completely resolved by centrifugal partition chromatography, u sing N-dodecanoyl-L-Proline-3,5-dimethylanilide as a chiral selector, and a biphasic system made with heptane, ethyl acetate. methanol and w ater. This opens the way to a better understanding of this class of se paration by centrifugal partition chromatography.
