Abstract
Using the exponential dichotomies, the transversality theory and the g eneralized. Melnikov method, we consider the conditions for the persis tence and the transversality of the singular orbit, with high degenera cy, situated on the heteroclinic or homoclinic manifold under perturba tion. The results obtained extend, include and improve the correspondi ng ones given in certain papers well known in this area.
