Abstract
We investigate to what extent the effective theory of the vector symme try satisfies the factorization assumption in the hadronic Cabibbo-all owed two-body decays of D-mesons. Some conclusions from the factorizat ion assumption and the vector symmetry in two-body hadronic B-decays a re compared with experiment.
