THE AMERICAN DAIRY-PRODUCTS INSTITUTE

The American Dairy Products Institute is the national trade associatio n of the processed dairy products industry. It was established under i ts current name on April 17, 1986 through a merger of the American Dry Milk Institute and the Whey Products Institute. In April 1987, the Ev aporated Milk Association also merged with it. Thus, the American Dair y Products Institute now represents three industry segments that forme rly each supported its own association.
