Abstract
An intramolecular DNA triple helix incorporating a disulfide cross-lin k has been synthesized. Potassium permanganate footprinting and UV mel ting analysis demonstrate that the cross-link increases the conformati onal stability of this novel triplex at physiological pH and [Mg2+] re lative to the unmodified sequence.
