Abstract
Two HPLC and GC methods on capillary column which allow the simultaneo us determination of 18 pesticides in honey and apples have been develo ped A good separation of most pesticides was achieved using each metho d The limits of sensitivity ranged from 0.025 to 0.2 ppm. These method s, HPLC and GC, require respectively a liquid-liquid extraction and a solid-liquid one, allowing sample purification and residue concentrati on. The procedure yields reproducible results with adequate sensitivit y for routine monitoring of pesticide residues in these products.
