MODELING OF THE PULVERIZED COAL CONSUMPTI ON BY TAKING THE PHYSICAL MATERIAL PROPERTIES INTO ACCOUNT

The authors introduce a coal consumption model based on a material tra nsport arrangement for particles. Physical material properties, such a s porosity and particle density besides the particle diameter, are tak en into consideration. The model has been compared with the measured v alues for hard coal and brown coal. It appears that the model can be u sed very well for the consumption simulation of a broad coal band.
