Lg. Fernandez et al., TRANSESOPHAGEAL ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY FOR DIAGNOSING AORTIC INJURY - A CASE-REPORT AND SUMMARY OF CURRENT IMAGING TECHNIQUES, The journal of trauma, injury, infection, and critical care, 36(6), 1994, pp. 877-880
Early diagnosis and rapid treatment of lethal aortic injuries associat
ed with blunt trauma remain a challenge for trauma surgeons. The follo

of current diagnostic modalities is also presented.
