Abstract
The polarization of radiation emitted by planar channeling relativisti c electrons with an energy on the order of 1 GeV in a thick diamond cr ystal has been studied theoretically and experimentally. A ''thermal-l ayer'' model has been used to calculate radiation in a thick crystal.
