Abstract
Energy losses by collisions are calculated for hard parton jets propag ating in viscous quark-gluon plasma. The calculation is performed in t he hydrodynamical approximation. The sensitivity of the jet-quenching factor to the character of spacetime evolution of hot parton matter pr oduced in ultrarelativistic collisions of nuclei is analyzed.
