Iam. Abdelhalim et al., EQUIVALENT-CIRCUIT FOR SMALL SOLID-ROTOR INDUCTION-MOTORS FED FROM A NONSINUSOIDAL SUPPLY, European transactions on electrical power engineering, 4(3), 1994, pp. 237-241
In this paper an equivalent circuit for small solid-rotor induction mo
tors is developed in which the effect of the time harmonics of the sup
ply are taken into consideration when the supply is non-sinusoidal. Th
is circuit can be used to obtain directly the characteristics of the m
otor, such as torque speed, current speed etc., when the motor is fed
from a non-sinusoidal supply, in the same way as the characteristics o
f the cage motor are obtained.
