Abstract
In the presence of Fe(II)-ions the glucosinolates from the leaves of B rassicaceae are degraded by myrosinase to nitriles and sulphur. On pol yacrylamide the myrosinase was separated by electrophoresis, followed by Fe(II)-S-detection. Thus myrosinase of wild growing Brassicaceae, m ainly from pannonic climate area of Austria, was made visible.
