Abstract
Considerations of symmetry and energy of the Doppler-broadened full en ergy peak of the 7.1 MeV gamma ray emitted following the F-19(p,alpha) O-16 reaction have been used to set a Ge detector to look at a target at 90-degrees to the proton beam axis.
