Abstract
Diels-Alder reaction of the arecolone-derived siloxydienes (7, 14) was described. The hexahydroisoquinoline derivatives (21, 22, 23) were pr epared from the reaction of 14 with methyl propiolate followed by Mich ael addition to the amido acrylates (18, 19, 20).
