Abstract
Excess enthalpies for the two binary systems, 1-nonene-n-nonane and 1- hexanol-2-hexyn-1-ol, and the two ternary systems, n-nonane-1-hexanol- n-nonane and 1-hexanol-2-hexyn-1-ol-n-nonane, at 298.15K have been det ermined with a Calvet-type micro-calorimeter. The experimental results of the binary systems have been fitted to Redlich-Kister equations. S ome modified Redlich-Kister equations and the UNIFAC group contributio n model have been applied in predicting ternary excess enthalpies.
