Abstract
An 0.1125% zinc chloride, 50% isopropyl alcoholic, 10% unbuffered form alin postfixative for routine surgical pathology tissues is described. Integration of this zinc isopropyl alcoholic formalin postfixative in to all automated routine tissue processing produces lymphoid tissue mo rphology similar to that produced by B5, but without the mercurial haz ard. Antigenicity is also preserved and possibly augmented.
