Abstract
We report the treatment of a case of acute sensitivity of the maxillar y incisor teeth caused by chronic regurgitation of gastric contents. T he resultant erosive lesions on the palatal surfaces involved extensiv e tooth surface loss with exposure of dentine. Palatal coverage of the se teeth was achieved using gold alloy veneers and resulted in complet e eradication of the symptoms. The procedures involved in the preparat ion and placement of the restorations are described.
