Abstract
It has been used a hollow fiber module NT-1808-S from Sorin Biomedica with 5 kDa cuprophan membranes for the kinetic study of fructose-gluco se isomerization with the soluble enzyme glucose-isomerase <<spezyme G I>> from Genencor Internacional. The comparison of the experimental re sults with the ones obtained with a perfect mixture reactor, shows tha t in the hollow fiber reactor a perfect mixture reactor, shows that in the hollow fiber reactor the inactivation of the enzyme-substrate see ms to take place in the membrane polarization coat.
