Fa. Gareev et al., ANALYSIS OF DISCRETE AMBIGUITIES FOR PI-N-DELTA AND RHO-N-DELTA VERTEX FUNCTIONS USING INCLUSIVE CHARGE-EXCHANGE REACTIONS, Physics of atomic nuclei, 57(6), 1994, pp. 959-967
The formalism of Feynman diagrams is used to describe the charge-excha
nge (p, n), (n, p), and (He-3, t) reactions on a free proton target, a
nd spectator and decay modes are taken into account in the pi + rho g'-model. The type of interference between these modes is shown to dep
end on the set of vertex function parameters that are used. It is show
n that discrete ambiguities exist for the piNDELTA and rhoNDELTA verte
x functions. They are partly removed if charge-exchange data for a wid
e energy range are used.
