Abstract
Triple differential cross sections are presented for the electron-impa ct ionization of silver and gold in coplanar asymmetric geometry at an impact energy of 500 keV. The problem is treated in a completely rela tivistic manner, using Dirac distorted waves in both the incident and final channels and the full photon propagator. Good agreement with exp eriment is obtained.
