Abstract
A new 5 MV tandem accelerator facility is being installed at the Unive rsity of Tokyo. The facility has been designed for micro-analytical re search such as AMS, PIXE, RBS, ERD, NRA, atomic physics and nuclear ph ysics and many special items were specifically designed for AMS. The d etails of the AMS facility are described.
