Abstract
We give a brief description of a method to determine the (CH4)-C-14 em issions in NW Europe. We report the first measurements of atmospheric (CH4)-C-14 in The Netherlands, ranging from 124 3 to 426.5 pM. Prelimi nary analysis suggests a contribution of (CH4)-C-14 from nuclear insta llations other than pressurised/boiling water reactors.
