Abstract
Measurements of ultraviolet solar spectral irradiance from ground-base d observations made at Reykjavik (64-degrees-N) and Thessaloniki (40-d egrees-N) are used to calculate erythemally-weighted UV-B dose during EASOE. It is shown that the largest values of UV-B dose observed were about double those expected with an unperturbed ozone amount under clo udy conditions. At middle latitudes UV-B doses were within expectation throughout the period of the campaign.
