Abstract
Solubility in the system Pb(CH3COO)2-AgCH3COO-H2O has been studied by the isothermal method at 25-degrees-C. The system is of a simple euton ic type. The composition of the crystallizing solid phases has been co nfirmed by methods of chemical analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and di agram plotting. A technique for lead and silver detection in simultane ous presence of the components within a wide range of concentrations h as been developed. The solubility of AgCH3COO in 2% acetic acid at 25, 50, and 75-degrees-C has been determined.
