Abstract
A technique is described to obtain a lateral view of an anterior tooth using a regular periapical film. This procedure helps determine the r elative labiolingual position of instruments during the nonsurgical tr eatment of calcified canals. No additional armamentarium is required o ther than what is used in the daily practice of endodontics. This tech nique has other applications as well.
