Abstract
The mechanism of coherent radiation damping in NMR is essential for th e observation of free-precession signals. A review of radiation dampin g begins with the analysis of the sharp-line case and then accounts fo r the condition of inhomogeneous broadening. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Son s, Inc.
