Abstract
The Flory-Huggins equations concerning equilibria of two phases within ternary systems polymer/polymer/solvent are rewritten using a new set of variables. This allows the easy elimination of one of the unknowns of the problem, which can be further simplified, through the eliminat ion of a second unknown, within regions of the diagram sufficiently ne ar to a critical point.
