Sm. Clark et al., APPARATUS FOR THE IN-SITU KINETIC-STUDY OF REACTIONS INVOLVING AIR SENSITIVE MATERIALS USING ENERGY-DISPERSIVE POWER DIFFRACTION, Review of scientific instruments, 65(7), 1994, pp. 2210-2213
A novel sample chamber has been developed for the study of chemical re
actions involving air sensitive samples using energy-dispersive powder
diffraction. The apparatus consists of a reaction vessel, automatic r
eactant dispensing system, heating jacket, stirrer, and gas purge syst
em. The use of this apparatus is illustrated with data collected on st
ation 9.7 of the UK Synchrotron Radiation Source during a study on the
intercalation of cobaltocene into tin disulfide.
