I. Thurzo et K. Gmucova, SWITCHING BETWEEN DEEP-LEVEL TRANSIENT SPECTROSCOPY AND FEEDBACK CHARGE CAPACITANCE MODES IN A VERSATILE TIME-DOMAIN SPECTROMETER, Review of scientific instruments, 65(7), 1994, pp. 2244-2248
Software-supported switching between the deep-level transient spectros
copy (DLTS) and feedback charge method (FCM) operation modes of a vers
atile time-domain spectrometer, while using identical circuitry, is de
monstrated. No additional correction of the output signal for integrat
ed leakage current is needed. The timing scheme design is discussed in
more detail with reference to a practical example. The interval of ac
hievable rate windows is not affected by the switching between the DLT
S and FCM modes of the instrument. A few illustrative examples of DLTS
and C - V plots are included.
